Dr. Kingsley Kabari PhotoDr. Kingsley Kabari is the owner of Maximum Fitness, Start-to-Fit, and Kabari Chiropractic, all under the umbrella of Kabari Wellness. He has two locations- one in Whitesboro, NY and the other in Waterloo, NY. Dr. Kabari graduated from the New York Chiropractic College in NY as a Doctor of Chiropractic. Prior to earning his doctorate, He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology from Plymouth State University in New Hampshire. He currently holds the following Certifications: through the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) as a personal trainer, active release technique (ART), he is a certified Kinesio taping practitioner, and holds an advanced certificate in Whole Food Nutrition.

Dr. Kabari’s background includes working as a chiropractic intern at the VA hospital and Seneca Falls health center. Dr. Kabari also has over a decade of experience as a fitness expert, wellness coach, a rehabilitation specialist, intern as a cardiac rehabilitation specialist, motivational speaker, and a teacher in many health and fitness classes.

Tara Montoney PhotoMy name is Tara Montoney. Fitness has always been a part of my life, but at the same time I have always struggled with my weight. I started taking boot camp and Women’s Strength Training classes with Dr. Kabari, which not only changed my body, but my whole attitude towards exercise. I had no idea what my personal limits were because nobody ever pushed me that far! Recently, I have lost over 30 pounds and several inches all over my body. I have increased my energy level, decreased inflammation, and I no longer suffer from pesky aches and pains. I am down 3 pants sizes, I’m so much stronger, and I feel amazing! I am happier in every aspect of my life. My increased self-confidence has motivated me to explore a new world of fitness coaching so that I can share my experience and love of fitness with others. “Sticking to the Plan” is the motto that has made me a new person and I simply want to help others achieve their personal wellness goals, as I have done for myself. Sara PhotoSara holds AHS in Human Services, AAS in Chemical dependency counseling, AA in Pastry Arts, and a BS in Community and Human services. Sara is very passionate about helping others. She knew from a very young age that she enjoyed volunteering at various community events, and as she grew older, that passion grew and her desire to help people find solutions to meet specific needs grew as well. Sara harnesses these strengths and competencies along with personal abilities in the form of communication and planning, to help people reach their goals to be happier, and healthier. Before working at Kabari Wellness Inc./Maximum Fitness, Sara was a supervisor at United Parcel Service, where she managed the day-to-day activities of parcel delivery.

Gigi PhotoGigi is employed by the New York State Office of Court Administration as a court reporter. Since she spends most of her work day sitting, she appreciated early on in her career the importance of incorporating exercise into her daily routine. Developing a strong core enables her to sit for longer periods of time without neck or back pain, which happens frequently to those in her profession. At the age of 48, she stepped up her game when a friend introduced her to her first sprint triathlon. After completing her first sprint with only five weeks of training, she has gone on to complete three half iron triathlons, three Olympic level triathlons, six Iron Girl and many other sprint level triathlons. As an offshoot to her triathlons, she has trained and completed runs in the off-season. Her greatest challenge and proudest moment was completing the Dopey Challenge at Disney World which consists of completing a 5k/10k/half and full marathon in two consecutive days and several other half marathons and 5ks. Gigi has been a member of Dr. Kingsley Kabari’s boot camp class for 3+ years and also personally trained with Dr. Kabari for 3+ years. She has learned from the best and is excited to help others on their fitness journey.

Halie PhotoHalie has been passionate about health and fitness since high school. After playing D3 Collegiate softball for 4 years, she knew that she wanted to continue with sports and athletics once she graduated. She began her journey with the supplement company 1st Phorm (September 2015) then decided to get certified with ISSA Strength and Conditioning in May 2016. Halie is currently enrolled in chiropractic school in Seneca Falls, NY. Her vision and dedication is to helping people become a better version of themselves.

Start-To-Fit Staff

Personal Trainer Joshua Harris: also known as Seger Swol. Joshua has a passion for helping others to improve their lives. As a trainer, he takes a holistic approach to health and wellness, which extends beyond the physical and incorporates other crucial aspects of a well balanced life. Joshua began his fitness journey while honorably serving on active duty in the U.S. Air Force for over 8 years, and has continued his service in the Air Force Reserves. During his service time he earned his Bachelor’s in Health and Wellness with a concentration in Health Administration, while also gaining his Level Two Personal Trainer Certification from The National Academy of Sports Medicine, with an additional certification in Fitness Nutrition. Currently, Joshua is a student at Upstate Medical University in Syracuse pursuing his Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Joshua is eager to offer his years of military experience, academic education, and personal training expertise to our Start-To-Fit Family!
